Breanna Brown here, I am excited to share with you my pre and post ride routine. All the details that I make sure to do before and after I ride so I ensure my horse is properly ready to ride and effectively taken care of after I ride. This routine works for any horse. Whether you are riding trails, competing in rodeo, jumping, going for a ride to clear your head and everything in between, this will work great!

Pre-Ride Routine

Assess your horse – Check their mood & physical condition to adjust your ride plan.

Saddle up right – Brush, pick hooves, and cinch up in stages for comfort.
Hydration boost – I give Redmond Electrolytes at least an hour before riding.

Post-Ride Routine

Hop off where they succeed – Release pressure where they completed the task.
Let them roll – Helps stretch out & mentally reset.
Cool down – Ensure breathing returns to normal before turning them out.
